INDIA WILDLIFE CONSERVATION PROGRAMS VIA TOURISM
Line

  India has many endangered species

Conservation Conservation

WHY ???

Conservation Conservation

Poaching – huge sums of money can be made by selling carcasses to countries such as China, Korea and Japan where body parts are used as aphrodisiacs and medicines. The temptation is understandable.

Lack of habitat – India is a developing country and there is huge demand for land and resources so that habitats essential for wildlife are increasingly becoming threatened by the demands of the local population.

Only Approx 1000 Tigers Left in India!

How you can help wildlife conservation projects in India by travelling with Savage?

TigerWe use local services and guides at all times – your trip will provide income and positive feedback to the local communities – they will realise the value of their beautiful wildlife and resources and support the fight against poaching and encroachment of habitat.

Savage India has close links with many of the game parks. If any of our clients wish to make donations we can guarantee the funds will get straight to the people who matter and be put to immediate use.

BirdsSavage India supports the work of the Ghana Keoladeo Natural History Society, a charitable organisation based in the famous Ghana Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
