ImageThis trip is a truly amazing experience and includes sightseeing in Delhi with its wealth of forts, temples, mosques, monuments and varied and historic architecture. From there we drive to the jewel of the desert, the pink city of Jaipur, with its palaces, bazaars, museums and historic forts - soak up all the romance, colour and history of Rajasthan. Then it's on to Agra to visit Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, after a trip to the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri and time birdwatching in the world-famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The tour goes on to explore historical palaces and temples of Orchha and the beautiful temples of Khajuraho which despite being places of worship, are adorned with exquisitely carved explicit erotic sculptures.

There is a visit to the holy city of Varanisi with the chance to photograph the sun rising over this incredible city as you take a boat ride down the Ganges and go on to see the sacred Buddhist stupas at Sarnath. Then there is the long but exciting drive to Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Buddha - a beautiful spot with many Buddhist monasteries to visit. There is time to explore Lumbini before exciting elephant and boat safaris within Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the most important sub-tropical parks where you may see tigers, one-horned rhinos, Gangetic dolphin and many other species of wildlife. Then we drive to Pokhara for fantastic views of Himalayas, including Machhapuchhare, the spectacular "fish-tailed" mountain. Then there is the long but rewarding journey to Kathmandu, Nepal's capital which is full of historic sites, ancient shrines, temples an pagodas. Kathmandu is the starting point for many fantastic treks and, of course, and the gateway to Mount Everest ....... A packed and amazing trip.
